Jane and Damian

Friday 25th May..............what a glorious day, the hottest day of the year so far! Let's hope we get some more days like it.
Ivory roses, calla lilies and a little bit of 'bling' were used for Jane's contemporary bouquet. I would love to show you some pictures of the bouquet, but, unfortunately my photography skills didn't do it justice..............hoping to receive some 'official' images soon.
In the meantime here are a few of mine that turned out ok.

It may have been scorching hot outside in the grounds of Woodborough Hall, but inside the floral colour scheme of green, ivory and white, was refreshingly cool.

Tall centrepieces of creamy lilies, ivory roses and seasonal flowers and foliage, looked and smelt gorgeous. Chocolate covered cake pops topped with piped roses looked delicious.....I bet they were scrummy!!

Emma and Mark

Emma had set her heart on a cluster of Ivory Roses.........and up until ten days before the wedding that was our plan.....but then, she fell in love with the coral roses that were going into her centrepieces.
''Please can I change my mind''? ...................and so a  cluster of coral roses made it to Cockliffe Country House for Emma's big day!

Gorgeous!

The neutral backdrop of the marquee and the glossy dark green foliage in the centrepieces showed off the roses to their full glory.

Norwood Park

Oh dear, what a horrible wet and windy day it has been today. Far to awful to go anywhere....but, one consolation, it gives me time to sit down and bring you a few images from a wedding I did a couple of weeks ago at the stunning Norwood Park.
Gorgeous Coral and Peach roses decorated Katherine and Matt's wedding on April 14th.

There was a most amazing perfume all around me as I made the huge table arrangements, the roses (which actually did have a scent) were teamed with lemon stocks and ranunculas, pale, peachy lemon hypericum and salmon coloured tulips, rosemary and eucalyptus.

Small posies of roses and ranunculas were attached to the chair ends with vintage lace bows. After the ceremony these were moved and positioned in vases on the windowsills of the gallery. The Gallery looked amazing, nine tables in all, each with a huge cylinder vase, pearls and of course....flowers!

February 11th

On the coldest day of the winter so far.... -11C, when I set out early to deliver this gorgeous mix of  spring flowers, last Saturday morning. Ranunculas, Tulips and Narcissi with Muscarri, enough to cheer anybody on such a cold, crisp day in February! The bouquets not only looked fabulous against the snow and the navy blue dresses of the Bridesmaids, the scent from the narcissi and muscarri was gorgeous!.

Something a little bit different...buttonholes of Craspedia, Rosemary and Muscarri..

Pedestals were positioned in St.Giles Church,West Bridgford and then transferred after the ceremony to Holme Pierrepont Hall.

Goldfish bowls of Pussy Willow and Tulips for the table centrepieces in the Long Gallery and along the mantlepiece in the Drawing Room.

Hope to bring you some 'official' photos soon.

Carmel and James

Carmel and James were married in North Wales on December 10th 2011, an extremely cold, but bright and sunny day. The theme of the floral designs was 'natural' home grown flowers and foliage, where possible.
For Carmel's bouquet we were able to source Cornish grown White Anemones, the lovely Beth at Cornish Blooms hand picked the flowers at the beginning of the week, and sent them on to me, to ensure that the blooms were at their best for the big day.

The gorgoeous little Church of Ss.Peter & Frances in Prestatyn was decked out with pew ends, made simply from holly and ivy, collected from the hedgerows around my home. These were attached to the pew ends with scarlet bows.

The buttonholes, bridesmaid bouquet and table arrangements all continued the theme.Hurricane lamps with red candles and garlands of holly, ivy and misteltoe added a fabulous warm 'Christmassey' glow to the proceedings...James and Carmel's guests each received individually picked favours of Christmas Tree decorations..so when Christmas comes around again they will all have a lovely reminder of that superb day in North Wales!

Finally.....The Happy Couple!

Bec and Rich

I am really pleased to be able to share with you these images of Bec and Rich's wedding day...which nearly didn't take place. Rich was involved in a bad motorbike accident a mere 6 weeks before their wedding in October! Thankfully he made a big enough recovery for the wedding to go ahead. Looking at these gorgeous photos taken by Angie and Sarah at Lakeside,  it's hard to believe that Rich had been so ill.
